Skyops Privacy Framework
Version 1.0
Skyops Privacy Framework
Last Updated: [29 May 2025]
Skyops is committed to safeguarding your privacy while delivering a secure and transparent decentralized compute experience. This Privacy Framework explains how we collect, use, protect and disclose your data when interacting with our platform.
By accessing or using Skyops, you agree to this policy.
1. Overview
Skyops minimizes data collection by design. We prioritize non-custodial systems and local-first architecture — but some limited data is necessary to operate the network effectively and improve your experience.
2. What We Collect
2.1 Public Identifier Data
Wallet address (used for authentication and payments)
Node ID or job reference hash (for compute tracking)
2.2 System & Usage Data
Browser/device metadata
OS and GPU specs (for node operators)
Platform interaction logs (e.g. task execution timestamps)
2.3 Optional Contact Info
If you voluntarily submit feedback or support tickets, we may receive:
Email (if provided)
Telegram handle (if included)
3. Why We Use This Data
Service Delivery: To route jobs, verify compute, track uptime and deliver results
Analytics: To improve UX and protocol performance (in aggregated, non-identifiable form)
Security: To prevent fraud, abuse and bot activity on the network
Communication: To provide service updates or respond to support inquiries
Skyops does not monetize or sell your data.
4. Data Sharing
Skyops limits data access to critical functions:
Infrastructure Providers: Encrypted job metadata may pass through third-party compute contributors
Legal Compliance: We may disclose data if legally required under applicable jurisdiction
Protocol-Level Operations: On-chain data is public and immutable by design (e.g. job logs, wallet-triggered events)
5. Data Security
We implement technical and operational safeguards including:
Encrypted communication channels (TLS)
Zero knowledge of wallet private keys
Isolated node execution environments
Access controls and monitoring across our backend services
6. Your Controls
6.1 Transparency & Access
You may request a copy of your usage-related data (e.g. task logs tied to your wallet).
6.2 Revocation
Disconnecting your wallet and ceasing usage halts all data generation.
7. External Links
Skyops may reference third-party tools (wallets, compute frameworks, etc.). We are not responsible for their data practices. Please review their policies separately.
8. Changes to This Policy
Skyops may revise this Privacy Framework from time to time. When updated, we’ll post the revised version and notify the community via official channels.
